FINLOG_ (Financial and Logistical database driven site)
FINLOG, a database-driven online software product, successfully centralized supply and financial databases for Army organizations that use STAMIS (Standard Army Management Information Systems) systems. In 2002, this website product won the FORSCOM CIO G6, “Most Innovative IT Program of the Year” award. The FINLOG website is currently operational in all of the FORSCOM installations, USARPAC including Alaska and Hawaii, USAREUR, USASOC, and parts of TRADOC.
Within the FINLOG website, the user is provided with dynamic, real-time 24-hour financial tracking information, tailored reports and queries, one-stop research and a means to validate financial input files. The site provides access to reports and offers exceptionally high-speed queries on vast enterprise database tables, research, and file validation at any time from any place.
FINLOG’s database edit processing system gives it the back-end horsepower to handle any need. It collects daily financial and supply files from Material Management Centers (MMC) during the night to avoid impact on our customers' normal operating hours. FINLOG’s automated processes provide its users with three key features:
- Checkbook - Enables users to track fund expenditures
- ISB credit tracking - Enables users to track credit turns
- File Correction - Enables users to change or delete financial transactions prior to input into the financial system
